Services - St. Matthews, Newtownmountkennedy

St. Matthew's remains closed for services due to structural problems which make it unsafe to allow the public inside. A conservation architect has been engaged to assess the damage and advise on works needed. The project will take some time to complete but the Select Vestry is fully committed to seeing the church safe and open for worship again.

Sunday services are being streamed from the cathedrals and that is a good way of taking part, under the circumstances and indeed enjoying cathedral worship for a change. This is a fine way to make our cathedrals relevant to the Diocese. Visit https://christchurchcathedral.ie/worship/video-stream-1/ and https://www.stpatrickscathedral.ie/worship/video-stream/ to view services online. Christ Church Cathedral has a service at 11am and St. Patrick's Cathedral has services at 9.15am, 11.15am and 3.15pm on Sundays. RTE also broadcasts a Sunday morning service.
